Preparation of Development Applications
Grummitt Planning are able to assist you in most forms of development applications to Council, or, if appropriate, State Government Agencies. Our obligation free, no-cost
assessment of your enquiry includes our fee submission to undertake the commission.
Grummitt Planning will work with your preferred consultants or, as a totally independent specialist town planning consultancy, can recommend a range of different specialist consultants, chosen for the specific requirements of your project. Depending on your project we will advise the team of required consultant inputs to include in the development application. We will also advise supplementary consultants that may be required, if requested by Council, to ensure that the application is comprehensive but not unnecessarily burdened with up-front costs.
We will coordinate the process of incorporating all inputs to the development application process, including all required consultant inputs and liaison with all government agencies involved in the assessment of the application.
Grummitt Planning will also undertake the public notification processes required in Impact Assessable applications, to ensure full coordination of the application process.
Our costs will vary depending on the complexity of the project and whether the application is Code or Impact Assessable and will normally be within the range of $4,000 to $15,000.
Timings involved in the preparation of applications for lodgment with Council will similarly vary with the complexity of the project, but is normally between 1 and 4 months from commission.
